Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter) is once again extending a helping hand to area veterans by providing them with the opportunity to receive essential services and support. Working alongside a representative from the American Legion, Causer aims to ensure that veterans receive the assistance they require.
Appointments are necessary for meetings with the Legion representative, whether conducted in person, over the phone, or through a tablet. The schedule for these meetings is as follows:
- Coudersport office: Thursday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Contact: 814-274-9769)
- Bradford office: Wednesday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Contact: 814-362-4400)
- Kane office: Wednesday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to noon. (Contact: 814-837-0880)
During these sessions, assistance will be provided on various issues including compensation, education, pension, health care, and death benefits. It is emphasized that veterans do not need to be members of the American Legion to avail themselves of these services.
In a statement, Rep. Martin T. Causer highlighted the importance of extending support to veterans, stating, "Assistance is available with issues such as compensation, education, pension, health care and death benefits. Veterans need not be a member of the American Legion to participate."
