HARRISBURG – Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter) and Sen. Cris Dush (R-25) have revealed funding of over $914,500 for two transportation projects in Keating Township, McKean County.

The township has been granted $400,000 for the reconstruction of the Bordell Road Bridge and $514,523 for the reconstruction of Reilly Hollow Road.

"I’m glad to support these critical infrastructure projects that are so important for the safety and quality of life of folks living in and traveling through the township," expressed Rep. Martin Causer. He added, "I’m pleased to see this much-needed funding being directed to our rural communities."

Sen. Cris Dush also commented on the funding, stating, "Keating Township has received significant funding that will be used to offset the financial burden residents would have otherwise felt for these critical infrastructure upgrades." He further emphasized, "With so many families struggling with ever-rising costs and inflation, both of these projects will greatly improve highway safety, while keeping traffic and commerce flowing for McKean County residents and local businesses."

The grants for these projects were awarded through the Multimodal Transportation Fund administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority. The fund aims to encourage economic development and ensure a safe and reliable transportation system for the residents of the commonwealth.
