On Saturday, March 15, former Athens Area High School standout Caydence Macik’s current college team, the Mansfield Mountaineers, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bowie State Bulldogs.
The game took place at BSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Helen Lutes Field against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
