On Tuesday, April 1, former Wyalusing Valley Junior Senior High School standout Blake Morningstar’s current college team, the Wake Forest Deacons, won 13-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the High Point Panthers.

The game took place at Kannapolis Atrium Health Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Deacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 8 p.m. at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium against Florida State Seminoles.
