Rep. Martin Causer is reminding senior citizens in the area about the upcoming Senior Citizens Expo scheduled for Friday, August 1. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Sports and Fitness Gymnasium on Campus Drive.

“This is always an informative event that is helpful not only to senior citizens but to their family members and caregivers as well,” Causer said. “I encourage everyone to come out and take advantage of the opportunity to get a wealth of information in one convenient location.”

Due to the expo, Causer’s offices in Bradford, Coudersport, and Kane will be closed for the day on August 1. Anyone needing urgent assistance can contact the Harrisburg office at 717-787-5075.

The expo is free for attendees and includes lunch. Exhibitors from state, county, and local organizations will provide information and answer questions on various topics relevant to seniors. Health screenings will be available, and there will be door prize drawings during the event.

Additional expos are planned for Friday, September 12, and Friday, October 10. Both events are also scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For more details about the senior expos, people can call Causer’s Bradford office at 814-362-4400.
