Causer to discuss grants for senior centers in 67th Legislative District

Rep. Martin Causer is set to discuss the impact of grant funding recently secured for senior centers in his legislative district. The events are scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, with two distinct sessions. The first will take place at 10 a.m. at the Oswayo Valley Senior Center located at 128 Lyons St., Shinglehouse. The second session will be held at 1 p.m. at the Greater Bradford Senior Activity Center, 60 Campus Drive, Bradford.

Participants at the Shinglehouse event will include Causer, Potter County commissioners, Potter County Human Services Director Thomas Patterson, and local senior citizens. The Bradford event will feature Causer, county commissioners, Kim Briggs, the executive director of the Office of Human Services Area Agency on Aging, along with directors and senior citizens from Cameron and McKean counties.

These gatherings aim to shed light on the advantages that these grants bring to the community’s senior centers.
