On Sunday, April 13, former Athens Area High School standout Caydence Macik’s current college team, the Mansfield Mountaineers, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Kutztown Golden Bears.

The game took place at North Campus Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 12 p.m. at Helen Lutes Field against Bloomsburg Huskies.
