On Tuesday, April 22, former Athens Area High School standout Caydence Macik’s current college team, the Mansfield Mountaineers, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shippensburg Raiders.
The game took place at Robb Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Raiders this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Helen Lutes Field against East Stroudsburg Warriors.
