Elected officials from Tioga County have expressed their support following the acquisition of ASC Engineered Solutions’ foundry and facilities in Blossburg by Rytoriacap Inc. (Rytoria). The statement was made by Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson, state Senator Gene Yaw, Representative Clint Owlett, and Tioga County Commissioners Sam VanLoon, Marc Rice, and Shane Nickerson.

“This is encouraging news for the Blossburg community, Tioga County and the entire region. We are happy to see another company investing in our area because they recognize the great things we have to offer, including a well-trained workforce with a strong work ethic and an outstanding quality of life. We hope it is another step toward continued growth in Blossburg and beyond,” they stated.

The officials also praised ASC’s leadership for their efforts in securing a buyer for the facility and maintaining communication with local leaders. “We also commend leaders at ASC for their proactive approach in finding a buyer for their local facility and for maintaining regular communication with us and other community leaders along the way. We succeed when we work together.”

Additionally, gratitude was extended to Senator Dave McCormick’s team for their involvement.
