On Friday, April 18, former Athens Area High School standout Caydence Macik’s current college team, the Mansfield Mountaineers, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Chester Golden Rams.
The game took place at Helen Lutes Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Rams this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at Helen Lutes Field against Shepherd Rams.
