Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming) will host the third annual Wyoming County Senior Expo on Friday, September 26. The event is scheduled to take place at the Triton Hose Company, located at 116 W. Tioga St. in Tunkhannock, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“I feel it is important to provide information on these services to our community,” said Pickett. “This is a free and accessible event, and I encourage seniors and their caregivers to make plans to join us and take advantage of this opportunity.”

The expo will feature dozens of exhibitors offering details about health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning, fraud protection, government services, veterans benefits and other topics relevant to seniors.

A shredding service will be available at no cost for secure destruction of personal documents. Additionally, there will be a drug take-back program where residents can safely dispose of unused or expired medications.

Further information can be obtained by contacting Pickett’s district offices or by visiting her website at RepPickett.com.
