Rep. Tina Pickett, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, shared updates on recent community engagements and local achievements through a series of posts on her official social media account.
On August 19, 2025, Rep. Pickett posted about attending a local event: “This past Sunday, I attended a quilt show at the Tuscarora Township building. There were many beautiful local family quilts on display. It was lovely to see the different varieties. Thank you for the invitation!”
The following day, August 20, 2025, she reported her participation in a conference focused on intergovernmental cooperation: “I recently spoke at a Pennsylvania Association of Municipal Administrators’ (PAMA) conference. It is important for state and local governments to collaborate, and I was happy to take part in a conference that does just that. Thank you for inviting me to speak at this event!”
Later on August 20, Rep. Pickett recognized an individual for his service with the Towanda Lions Club: “The Towanda Lions Club has awarded its 2025 Melvin Jones Fellowship to longtime member Bob Hugo, recognizing his outstanding commitment to community service and leadership within the organization. Hugo demonstrates the spirit of service and community. Congratulations!”
Tina Pickett represents parts of Bradford and Susquehanna counties in northeastern Pennsylvania and has served in the state legislature since 2001.
