Rep. Tina Pickett, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, shared updates on recent community events and recognitions in her district through a series of posts on social media.
On August 4, 2025, Rep. Pickett posted about her attendance at a local parade: “Last week, I attended the Triton Hose Company parade in Tunkhannock. Featured in the parade was a 1928 fire truck that is pictured, driven by Tunkhannock Fire Company President Chuck Sands and Jim Welch. Also pictured is Dick Witter and his 1955 Lincoln Continental!”
Later that same day, she highlighted another community gathering: “On Saturday Roman-LeRay-Franklin Lodge 418 of the Masons held its first ever car show at the Rome Park. The theme was ‘All roads lead to Rome’. Over 60 participants took part, making a great day to see vintage and modified vehicles.”
On August 6, Rep. Pickett recognized local volunteer efforts with an official commendation: “Last week, I was happy to author a House certificate for Pastor Rick Womer to congratulate him on 38 years of volunteering at The Embassy of Tunkhannock. Thank you for being a wonderful member of your community and having a positive impact on our area.”
These posts reflect Rep. Pickett’s ongoing engagement with civic activities and her recognition of individuals contributing to community life in northeastern Pennsylvania.
