Remote Learning Parent Survey for STSD
We are looking for your feedback on how Remote Learning has impacted you and your students! Please complete this survey before midnight on June 5!
The Southern Tioga Remote Learning Page is a part of our Continuity of Education Plan and created to assist students in learning beyond the classroom. The Remote Learning Page consists of two phases; Enrichment and Review and Planned Instruction.
Enrichment and Review- A collection of resources, developed activities and learning opportunities for students to utilize while away from our buildings. STSD faculty and staff will update this list of sites regularly and we encourage our students to check-back often. These activities will not be assessed or graded.
Planned Instruction - A learning opportunity that allows for students to complete the fourth marking period with a final project, called a Capstone Project. The focus of this project is on learning. Student participation and attendance will be tracked on a weekly basis and upon completion of the Capstone Project. These activities will be graded on a Pass/No Credit basis.
While these learning opportunities, and our continuity of education plan cannot fully replace the face-to-face learning that happens between teachers and students, we believe these resources will provide a valuable support to students and families during this time of remote learning.
