92 percent of applicants to Mansfield University of Pennsylvania were admitted for fall 2018

At Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Mansfield enrolled 1,629 students in fall 2018, including 1,597 in undergraduate and 32 in graduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 14 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).

The school admitted 92 percent of the 1,595 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
