72 percent of applicants to Northern Tier Career Center were admitted for fall 2018

At Northern Tier Career Center, 63 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 97 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Towanda enrolled 35 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (94 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 72 percent of the 43 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 74 percent enrolled.
