The Mansfield University women's soccer team suffered a loss to Kutztown University, 5-0, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10.
The Mounties record drops to 1-3-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the PSAC, while Kutztown improves to 4-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the conference.
The Bears got up early, scoring three goals in the first half, and then adding two more goals in the second half, while limiting the Mounties to only one shot in the match.
Kayla Argen scored twice and had an assist for the Kutztown Bears, while Isabella Rossetti, Lexy Endres, and Caroline McDonald each scored once.
Sophomore Katelyn Rueppel had the lone shot for the Mounties, while junior goalkeeper Faith Cameron had a game-high five saves.
The Mounties host West Chester on Wednesday, Sep. 14 for a 4:00 PM PSAC East matchup.
