In Susquehanna County 60 inmates were incarcerated in the fourth quarter of 2022, a 5.3 percent increase over the quarter before, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Andrea Nicole Martel, a 24-year-old, was the youngest inmate in Susquehanna County in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Alfred Victor Stacey was the oldest at 77-years-old.

Incarceration rates in Pennsylvania have increased dramatically, imprisoning more than seven times the number of people in 2019 than in 1970.
