Reps. Tina Pickett and Clint Owlett have been sworn in to continue representing Bradford County in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The ceremony took place today, marking their ongoing commitment to serving the region.

In a joint statement, Pickett and Owlett expressed their dedication to addressing key issues affecting rural Pennsylvania. "It is an honor to represent the people and the values of rural Pennsylvania, the Northern Tier and especially Bradford County in the state House. We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most in our region, from policies to mitigate flooding and expand broadband service to those ensuring quality education for our students, safety in our communities and opportunity for family-sustaining jobs," they stated.

The representatives emphasized their role as a connection between residents and state government. "In addition to working on these broader issues, we are equally committed to helping residents with any state-related issues they may have. We are your link to state government and stand ready to serve."

Pickett will continue her role as Republican chair of the House Insurance Committee, which focuses on overseeing insurance-related policies through the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. She represents the eastern side of Bradford County with offices located in Towanda and Sayre.

Owlett, who has an office in Troy, represents the western side of Bradford County. He is beginning his first term as secretary of the House Republican Caucus, where he will mentor 11 new members who were elected in November.
