State Rep. Clint Owlett | Pennsylvania 68th Legislative District
Reps. Tina Pickett and Clint Owlett have been sworn in to continue representing Bradford County in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The ceremony took place today, with both lawmakers expressing their dedication to serving the community.
In a joint statement, they said, "It is an honor to represent the people and the values of rural Pennsylvania, the Northern Tier and especially Bradford County in the state House. We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most in our region, from policies to mitigate flooding and expand broadband service to those ensuring quality education for our students, safety in our communities and opportunity for family-sustaining jobs."
They further emphasized their commitment to assisting residents with state-related issues, stating, "In addition to working on these broader issues, we are equally committed to helping residents with any state-related issues they may have. We are your link to state government and stand ready to serve."
Pickett will continue her role as Republican chair of the House Insurance Committee. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and developing insurance-related policies. She represents eastern Bradford County with offices located in Towanda and Sayre.
Owlett represents western Bradford County from his office in Troy. He is beginning his first term as secretary of the House Republican Caucus, where he will mentor 11 new members elected in November.
