Rep. Martin Causer will continue to host Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics for eligible residents in the coming week. The clinics, which are free and do not require appointments, are scheduled at various locations:

- Bradford Senior Center on March 3 from 9 to 11 a.m.

- Oswayo Valley Senior Center on March 4 from 9 to 11 a.m.

- Austin Borough Office on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- Coudersport Senior Center on March 6 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The program assists those aged 65 and older, widows and widowers aged 50 and above, and individuals with disabilities aged 18 and over. This year’s income limit is $46,520 for both homeowners and renters, excluding half of Social Security or railroad retirement income. The maximum rebate available is $1,000.

To file for the rebate, renters need their landlord-completed PA Rent Certificate or HUD statement, proof of income documents like Form 1099s, and photo identification. Homeowners must provide proof of paid property taxes along with similar income documentation and identification.

Rebates can be received via direct deposit if applicants bring a check for account details; otherwise, paper checks will be sent out starting after July 1.

Additional assistance is available at Rep. Causer's offices in Bradford, Coudersport, or Kane. Online applications can be submitted at mypath.pa.gov.
