Rep. Clint Owlett of Tioga/Bradford is set to host a Game Commission Night in Bradford County, focusing on the state's white-tailed deer population and habitat. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, from 6-8 p.m. at Peppers Auction Barn, located east of Canton at 13580 State Route 414. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The presentation will be led by Pennsylvania Game Commission Whitetail Deer Biologist Maureen Staats and forester Chad Barclay. They will discuss how individuals can make their property more conducive to deer habitation. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

"Our Game Commission nights have been among the most popular events we have hosted, and I am happy to work with the Leroy Sportsman’s Association to bring this event to Bradford County," said Owlett. "It really is a great event for the entire family, and a great opportunity to mentor young people and grow their interest in the sport of hunting. I encourage you to sign up today!"

Admission is free, but attendees must register in advance. Registration can be completed by visiting Owlett's website at RepOwlett.com/events or by calling his Wellsboro office at 570-724-1390 or Troy office at 570-297-3045.
