Rep. Tina Pickett, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, shared updates on local events and her views on state fiscal policy through several posts in mid-July 2025.
On July 15, Pickett posted about a community gathering: “Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church of Wyalusing held its annual fundraiser and picnic on Sunday. I was happy to attend the event with lots of good food and smiling faces.”
Later that day, she reported participating in another local event focused on agricultural issues: “Bradford/Sullivan County PA Farm Bureau invited Rep. Joe Hamm and me to the annual summer picnic at Mt. Pisgah State Park to discuss current issues and policy. I am pictured with Rep. Joe Hamm, representatives from Sen. Gene Yaw’s office, and representatives of the farm bureau.” This tweet highlights ongoing engagement between state legislators and agricultural stakeholders in northern Pennsylvania.
On July 16, Pickett addressed state spending concerns by posting: “State Budget Spends Way Too Much, Pickett Says”. Her comment signals criticism of recent budget decisions by Pennsylvania lawmakers.
Pickett represents parts of Bradford and Sullivan counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. The area is known for its rural communities and active participation in agricultural organizations such as county farm bureaus.
