Rep. Tina Pickett, Pennsylvania State Representative for the 110th Legislative District and former Bradford County commissioner, shared several updates this week on community events and local initiatives via her social media accounts.
On March 31, Pickett recognized a significant milestone in her district, posting: “Over the weekend, I had the honor of presenting Doris Betty Gruen with a House citation in celebration of her 100th birthday! It was a joy to recognize this milestone as she was surrounded by loving family and friends at the Mill City Assembly of God Church. Happy 100th Doris! https://t.co/ZXzHV6b7nn”.
Continuing her outreach activities, Pickett posted on April 1 about participating in an event supporting students with disabilities: “On Monday, I had the pleasure of joining BLaST IU 17 and Variety, the Children’s Charity, for the delivery of 9 adaptive bikes and 11 strollers to students from across our region! These are more than just pieces of equipment; they are tools for independence. https://t.co/j9udFlpmg6”.
On April 3, Pickett extended well wishes to anglers ahead of trout season’s opening day: “Good luck to all the anglers heading out this weekend for the opening day of trout season on Saturday, April 4!
