The occasion was the ninth annual Northern Tier Veterans Group Appreciation Day, where veterans gathered to share food, stories, and camaraderie. During the event, “13 veterans were presented with quilts” as a gesture of appreciation for their service.
Later on the same day, Rep. Pickett attended another community event organized by the Sayre Elks Lodge #1148 members. This event was their annual Flag Day Ritual which included an informative program about the history of the United States flag. Rep.
