Clarification About Election Information
We would like to clarify some information about Voter ID requirements:
If you have not received a letter from the Election Office stating that there was a problem verifying your ID, there is no issue with your mail in or absentee ballot.
You will only be required to show ID if you are a first time voter on Election day and cannot provide your ID at the polls. You would then be required to vote by Provisional Ballot and show ID to the Election office within six days of voting.
The law and procedure has not changed. Everyone who votes for the first time is required to show ID when they cast their first vote.
