Hometown Heroes Banner Program
A Celebration to Honor Our Past and Present Members of the Armed Forces and First RespondersElkland Borough will be celebrating a new Hometown Heroes Banner Program.
The Hometown Heroes Banner Program honors veterans, both living and deceased, and active-duty members of the Armed Forces and First Responders from Elkland Borough.
Each banner features the individual’s photo, name, branch of service and/or credentials. Sponsored by companies, organizations and families, the banners will be displayed on light poles throughout Main Street in Elkland Borough. Banners cost $200.00, payable to Elkland Borough.
If interested in purchasing a banner for your hero, please complete the Hometown Heroes form located under the tab FORMS tabon the Elkland Borough Webpage: www.elklandborough.com . All requests must be submitted to the Elkland Borough Office by September 1, 2021.
Submissions can be mailed to 105 Parkhurst Street, Elkland, PA 16920 or emailed to elklandboro@gmail.com. If you have questions, please call the office at 814-258-7322 or contact Jill Hall at 207-649-9983 and leave a message if necessary. Elkland Borough hopes to have the banners hung in time for Veteran’s Day, 2021.
