Mansfield University Athletics issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
The Mansfield University women's soccer team fell to Millersville University, 5-0 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division road game on Wednesday night, Oct. 27.
The Mounties fall to 1-12-2 overall and 0-11-2 in the PSAC East, while Millersville improves their overall mark to 6-5-3 and 6-5-2 in the conference.
The Marauders scored two goals in the first half and added three scores in the second, while securing a shutout to earn the victory.
Morgan Morgan Winchock and Alexis Glode each scored twice to lead the Marauders.
Senior Stephanie Moir made a game-high nine saves in net for Mansfield. Sophomores Emily Smith and Taylar Luckenbill, freshmen Katelyn Rueppel and Kerrah Clymer and junior Gabby Swan all recorded shots on goal for the Mounties.
The Mounties travel to No. 3 Kutztown University on Saturday, Oct. 30 for a 1 p.m. PSAC East match.
